What We Collect
When you use Prompt Pantry, we collect:
- Account data: Name, email address, and login method (provided via OAuth)
- Content you create: Ingredients, recipes, community posts, and their metadata
- Usage data: Actions you take in the app (creating, editing, sharing, AI usage), timestamps, and session information
- Technical data: Browser type, device info, and IP address (collected automatically)
How We Use It
- To operate and improve the service
- To provide AI-powered features (your prompts are sent to AI providers for processing)
- To generate analytics and business intelligence about service usage
- To communicate with you about the service
- To support potential business transactions (investment, acquisition, partnership)
Who Sees It
The service Owner (Joakim Jardenberg) and designated administrators have full access to all user data, content, and analytics. This is necessary to operate, monitor, and improve the service.
Content you publish to the Community Cookbook is visible to all users. Shared recipe links are accessible to anyone with the link.
We use third-party services for hosting, authentication, and AI processing. These providers may process your data according to their own privacy policies.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account exists and for a reasonable period afterward for analytics and business purposes. If you want your account deleted, contact us and we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained indefinitely.
Your Rights
You can access, export, or request deletion of your personal data by contacting us. If you are in the EU/EEA, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to object to processing. We will honor these requests within the legally required timeframes.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. That is it. No tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, no cookie consent banner needed.
Business Transfers
In the event of a sale, merger, or acquisition of Prompt Pantry, all user data may be transferred to the new owner. We will notify users of any such transfer.
